Volunteering
Volunteer signups will be managed through the Signup Genius website.  You will receive an email from the volunteer coordinator each week with the volunteer needs for the next meet.  Parent involvement through volunteering is critical for a successful swim meet. 
Listed are the jobs that are needed in order to have a successful home meet: 

Setup – Prepare the pool and the area for the home meet
Cleanup – Clean up the pool area after each home meet.
Concessions – Sell food and drinks at home meet, coordinate 50-50 raffle.
Food and Drinks – Parents are asked to donate food or drink items for sale at the concession stand
Timers - One for each lane and a backup timer
Place Judges – Record order of finish of the swimmers for each heat
Official - Starter and at least one stroke and turn official.   
Scorer’s Table – Enter times and order of finish into the scoring computer, meet announcer
Zookeepers - Zookeepers are parent helpers who organize the younger swimmers to ensure they are at the starting blocks prior to their scheduled events. (One for each age group boys and girls: 8 and under, 9-10 and 11-12). Swimmers 13 and older are expected to be listening to the meet and be prepared to swim at the time of their event.
